Education is the overall growth and development of the person in order to be a socialized person. Education is not only the subjects we get that we get to learn academic things only, but also many essential things for our lives such as ethics, morals, responsibilities, respect, knowledge, and many other important things that are basics in our lives (such as how to set goals, how to tackle problems in life, how to deal with people, how to work... and so many others). So no one could neglect how much education is important because it has a great and practical role in shaping the personality of the person.
After spending several years in school, the person learns so many things and the most important thing is when the student is able to transfer what he/sh learned to real life thus it appears that he/she is benefiting from his/her learning and he/she is better prepared to enter the society with what he/she has experiences.

Education is not strict to schools however, it begin from the first months after birth. Although life educates us but school plays an important role in shaping the personality the student has. School prepares us to the bigger society and this is noticeable when we tend to compare between 2 individuals one educated and the other not. We can see the difference in their way of dealing with issues even their thoughts would differ. Technology integration into our society forces people to be educated so that they are able to use the technological tools easily. So it's importance is always increasing as our universe is developing.
Life play important role in educating us, however schools play another important role in shaping personality students have. Education is not all about studying and getting good marks, it means to discover new things which we do not know about and to increase our knowledge. An educated person has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. A person becomes perfect as he is not only gaining from it but also contributes to the growth of a nation.
I think in addition to what you have mentioned, education plays an important role in building students characters. Characters are built through many school activities and strategies. Parents also should be involved in this process to have more developed characters in the society.
We clearly notice nowadays how every one is running around education, how education is at the center of attraction of all people.
However I think that the meaning of education is totally changed, people educated before to differentiate between right and wrong, it was to to discover new things and gain knowledge. Whereas in this progressing and developing society, your educational qualification is just to reflect your social image. But there is still common things that remain . The society is a cluster of different people and to deal with each we need knowledge of system, of rights and duties.. and this can help you become an important member in the society you live in and to participate actively. Also,uneducated are easily fooled by words because they cannot discriminate compared to those that are educated, the are smart enough and less likely to be shot by such cases.

Education is the best friend; it beats the beauty and the youth. From an early age; we’ve been told that education is the key to one’s success in life. No matter what global problem you are facing, whether it’s the elimination of poverty, creation of peace or any other problem, the solution always include education, never is it without an education component and sometimes cannot be done without education. The purpose of education is to teach us how to think critically and become problem solvers to build our personality and guides us to achieve goals.
