Teacher's expectations

What you expect is what you get from your students. This thing every teacher should put in mind while making expectations and thoughts about her students. Teacher expectations could be productive or wasteful and harmful for the students. It could be productive when the teacher expects that her students are able to reach the standards and work with them according these positive expectations, and thus the students will act upon them and will produce high achievements. On the other hand, if the teacher has negative expectations for a student for example, this student will internalize these expectations and he will think that he is not able to do well and reach the standards and this will affect the student in a very negative way which makes him careless about the school and in sometimes he will quit learning. Thus the good teacher should have positive expectations for all the students and help them to achieve those expectations, and should praise and value any single achievement of the students because it will encourage them so much.

Classroom and routines

If someone thinks about his life without routines that he usually does the same every day, he will find that his life is mostly a mess and not organized. Also the classroom should have a set of routines that the students should understand and follow in order for the teaching-learning process to go smoothly and to have a healthy and enjoyable environment in the classroom. In order for the students to enjoy following the routines, they should first participate in forming these routines and thus they become better adapted and know them well thus practice them easily. Also, the teacher should first practice them with the students in a daily basis in order for the students to master them, and the teacher should be the role model for the students which means that the teacher herself should obey these routines before the students (example coming on time to the classroom). The set of routines will help the teacher very much and well cause less management problems and will form an better learning environment.

Parents' envolvement in child's education

Parents send their children to school every day and expect them to do well there in their classrooms, and thus they are aiming for their child success. If parents participate in their child education this is what makes a difference. If the parents are actively involved in their child's education at home and in the school this allow for greater rewards and achievements and thus have a significant impact on the child's life later on and his role in the society. When parents are involved, their children behave better, do a better academic job, they go farther in the school, and many other positive impacts. Parents that provide a good environment for the child's learning encourages the student to study more and thus may achieve better results. Parents by actively participating in their child's education at home and school, these parents sent important messages for their children, and thus the child would feel that he is not alone at the school and this allow them to be more motivated for learning.

Teacher dealing with stdudents having special needs

A teacher dealing with normal students should be aware about the skills she uses, the way she deals with them, and should take a responsibility of teaching them the correct and suitable way to meet their needs. Also, a teacher may like and go toward teaching students with special needs. Such a teacher should take may responsibilities along with  the basic responsibilities of the teacher. The teacher should know very well the case of her student and try to get information about how to deal with it. Also, the teacher should organize activities that such students could be engaged with it and enjoy it. The teacher should inform the other students in the classroom (with no disabilities) that they should respect their friends and not to ignore them, and the most important thing is that the teacher should not feel pity toward these students because students with special needs would feel that they are lower or different from their friends. A major thing that every teacher should put in mind is that these students are not different from the others and they could do any task with a little and special help.

Importance of education

 Importance of education

Education is the overall growth and development of the person in order to be a socialized person. Education is not only the subjects we get that we get to learn academic things only, but also many essential things for our lives such as ethics, morals, responsibilities, respect, knowledge, and many other important things that are basics in our lives (such as how to set goals, how to tackle problems in life, how to deal with people, how to work... and so many others). So no one could neglect how much education is important because it has a great and practical role in shaping the personality of the person.
After spending several years in school, the person learns so many things and the most important thing is when the student is able to transfer what he/sh learned to real life thus it appears that he/she is benefiting from his/her learning and he/she is better prepared to enter the society with what he/she has experiences.

Some challenges for NOVICE teacehrs

A teacher's first year on the job is often difficult. Many non teaching teachers feel afraid of teaching for the first time. Many teachers that quit their teaching  profession is because of some challenges that they face during the first couple of years. Some challenges that novice teachers may face are: struggling with classroom management; sinking in non supportive environments; and not being able to deal with the curricular material freely.
1. Struggling with classroom management: The biggest challenge that surfaces for new teachers is classroom management. New teachers are particularly unprepared for dealing with behavior problems in their classrooms
2. Sinking in non supportive environments: New teachers often have difficult interactions with colleagues, either being neglected from experienced ones or others competing them.
3. Not being able to deal with the curricular material freely: who have not yet developed a repertoire of lesson ideas or knowledge of what will work in their classroom and be able to teach the curricular material freely the way they want.

How to integrate technology into classrooms properly

it is obviously appearing that many recent teachers are trying their best to integrate the technology to their classrooms in order to let students enjoy learning more, and because it is very important to be up to date also with teaching. the teacher should plan for using the technology in the classroom as she plans for any normal lesson, in this way, the teacher knows very well her responsibilities and what students should do during the session, thus time wouldn't be lost. the most important thing is that the teacher that wants to integrate technology to her classroom should be trained very well and knows how to use the different programs and applications that students would benefit from them if they use it. another thing is that students should know what is wanted from them properly in order to save time; it is the teacher's responsibility to teach the students how this technology is used in the classroom to enhance learning.
