Expressing the self

students may or may not be given the chance to express something of themselves in a learning experience. if they are given such a chance, the self expression may be delivered through drawing, creative writing, performing, or even speaking. expressing one's self is means expressing something that is unique about the student that encourages him/her to bring something about themselves. when a teacher allows a student to express him/her self it shows the students that the teacher cares for them and their interests which allow the students to be more motivated, and more motivation leads to better learning and achievement.

Self expression is not motivational only but also creative. By allowing students to express themselves under our guidance, they will feel that they are important and that we care about their abilities. If they express themselves, they will be brave enough to share their thoughts with others and defend their believes, which is important in creating and enhancing their character.

There is a quote said " To go wrong in one's own way is better than to go right in someone else's". Being creative helps you achieve your goals more effectively and you will believe what you find out about yourself. Do not put pressure on yourself to be perfect and do not worry about being perfect. Self expression is to set your thoughts, or opinions and it is an indication of your feeling, or character.

I think self-expression is very important and core issue. As teachers we should help students set their thoughts, feelings, and opinions through speaking, writing, and different arts and activities. They need to show what they want to share with people and give clues or indicators of their feelings and their characters.
